Strawberries in B Minor

Ingredients

• 4 bottles of Madiran Wine
• 750 g Gariguette strawberries, cut in half
• 400 g Sugar
• 1 Lemon
• 1 clove
• Grated nutmeg
• 1 sprig of mint
• 1 Cinnamon Stick

Preparation steps

1. Put the strawberries in a large bowl.
2. Add the sugar and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
3. Pour a bottle of red wine.
4. Stir with a large spoon.
5. Book in the fridge for a minimum of 24 hours.
6. Add the remaining wine.
7. Grate the lemon zest and add the nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.
8. Stir with a large spoon.
9. Book again for a minimum of 24 hours.



Decoration: Add mint leaves when ready to serve.
