Elegant Lemon Gin

Ingredients

• 4.5 cl of quality gin
• 2 cl of dry vermouth
• 2-3 drops of maraschino liqueur
• 2-3 drops of herbal absinthe
• 2-3 drops of orange bitters
• Zest of one organic lemon
• 5-6 ice cubes

Preparation steps

1. In a mixing glass, add ice cubes followed by all the ingredients except the lemon zest.
2. Gently stir the mixture with a mixing spoon until it is well chilled.
3. Strain the contents into a martini glass using an ice strainer to catch any pieces.
4. With a vegetable peeler, remove the zest of the lemon. Squeeze it over the glass to extract the essential oil, then place the zest in the cocktail.
