Astoria Cocktail

Ingredients

• 4 cl gin
• 3 cl dry vermouth
• 2 or 3 drops of orange bitters
• 1 fresh orange zest
• 5 to 6 ice cubes

Preparation steps

1. Start by placing the ice cubes in a mixing glass.
2. Pour the gin and dry vermouth over the ice.
3. Gently add 2 or 3 drops of orange bitters.
4. Stir the mixture gently with a cocktail spoon.
5. Strain the mix into a martini glass using a cocktail strainer.
6. Use a peeler to obtain a zest of orange. Squeeze this zest lightly over the glass to release the essential oils, then place it in the cocktail.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy.
