Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

Refresh yourself with this strawberry-banana smoothie, a creamy and fruity blend perfect for starting your day or as a midday snack. Optionally enhanced with kiwi, this smoothie offers an added touch of exotic freshness, making it as beautiful to look at as it is delightful to drink. 


Ingredients

  • 600 g fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 180 g vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • 240 g ice cubes
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced (optional for garnish)

Preparation steps

  1. In a blender, add strawberries, banana, and yogurt.
  2. Cover and blend until smooth.
  3. With the blender running, add ice cubes one at a time through the hole in the lid.
  4. Continue to blend until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour into 8 small glasses and, if desired, garnish with kiwi slices. Serve immediately.
